Derek Jeter is a baseball legend who made the impossible seem possible on a regular basis. With his effort and drive, the New York Yankees legend would make fantastic fielding plays and big hits out of nothing. That habit does not seem to have left Jeter as he has made the impossible become possible even after retirement.
Jeter was once looking to buy a property, and he flew to see it in his helicopter. That may not seem all that impossible, as many celebrities use helicopters to travel around. But what made the feat all the more impressive was where he flew the helicopter.

In 2016, while taking a look at properties, Derek Jeter flew his helicopter into a no-fly zone to look at a set of estates. According to the New York Post, “Derek Jeter flew in by helicopter to see estates for sale, in the $5 million to $25 million range, at Greystone on Hudson — a complex of 21 homes on 100 acres along a historic Westchester corridor.”
The report by the New York Post further said, “The area is a no-fly zone, but, our spies said, Jeter, managed to have his chopper land directly on the property.” This was something that Jeter managed to do even though most people would not be able to.

Jeter went to such lengths to successfully visit properties that he is interested in buying. But the Yankee star has had much worse luck when selling. In fact, Jeter received jibes and bad luck when he sold his Trump Tower apartment in 2012. At least he was able to sell that apartment, unlike another piece of property that he owns.
Jeter has been unable to sell a perfect house
Derek Jeter bought a Greenwood Lake property for $425,000 in 2003. Following massive renovation and work done on the house, he put it on the market for $14.5 million in 2018. Over the years, the property has failed to sell despite being put on sale multiple times for reduced prices. From lakes to acres of garden space and the best facilities, the house has it all. But it has still remained unsold for more than 4 years.
