And now, he, along with his supermodel wife, Ket Upton, is off to an elite villa that costs almost half a million a week to stay.

When talking about the expansive villa, Verlander is celebrating his immensely successful year with his daughter and wife. For those unversed, together the Verlander-Upton couple is worth around $170 million, which allows them to live a royal life.

The luxurious villa in St. Barts features a private waterfall along with having its own chef and butler. The airy and commodious abode has reportedly got five suites, each outfitted with a private deck of its own.
All the decks are thus complete with an outdoor shower or a Japanese soaking tub. While one of the decks has even got a Turkish bath. The 12,0000 square feet villa costs $450,000 per week. The rental property also contains two infinity pools.
Moreover, the four-story spread also includes indoor and outdoor dining rooms for private dinners, alongside two fully equipped kitchens. In terms of artistic decorations, the place features artworks by Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein. Per Page Six, “The outdoor showers open onto lush foliage and offer infinite sea views while floor-to-ceiling glass windows disappear into the walls.”
When talking about Verlander’s year, not only did he win the World Series with the Houston Astros, but the veteran ace also landed a lucrative 2-year contract with the New York Mets. On top of that, the celebration became more relevant, as his marriage anniversary also falls at the same timeframe.

Verlander has recently signed an $86.7 million contract with the Mets. The deal is for a two-year period. His contract also includes a $35 million vesting option for 2025.
