During all four years that Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez stayed in a relationship, they achieved multiple milestones. One such milestone was when Alex met his then-girlfriend’s parents. During an interview in 2018, the former baseman, talked about embarrassing family moments. Therein, he talked about Jennifer’s parents and how he is in awe of one of them while slating the other a bit. 

During the course of their relationship, they stayed in the tabloids for most of it, and even after it as well. It does not matter that they are not in a relationship now, but they still respect each other. Alex has not said one bad word ever about any of his ex-girlfriends, whatever the reason may be for their breakup. 

Alex and Jen started dating each other, soon after they met for the second time, in 2017. They fell in love and got engaged two years later. But as fate would have it, problems started arising, and they broke up in 2021. But problems were not there all the time. Constant praises were made all the time about each other and parents as well.

In an interview with Today, Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez talked about various things, the majority of it would be about embarrassing family moments. He also talked about Jen’s parents and what he like or did not like about them.

“Lupe. She’s the best. That’s where Jennifer got all her talent,” Alex said. Talking about JLo’s father, he said, “Her father, David, a long-time Mets fan, but… we won’t hold that against him.”

A baseball player that played mostly for the New York Yankees would obviously be a bit jealous if someone around him was a fan of the New York team, but not his.

Aside from the fact that David(Jennifer’s father) is a long-time Mets fan, Alex considers him a great person. In an ultimate tribute to her father, Jennifer along with her fiance Alex wanted to buy the New York Mets, but unfortunately, it did not happen.
