In an interview with Ed Mylett in 2020, ‘A-Rod’ again gave glimpses of his sporting intellect. Mylett presented a hypothetical situation to ‘A-Rod’ asking what he would do if made the MLB commissioner.?

‘A-Rod’ replied saying, “You know, I remember going after my father, he loved baseball. And he watched baseball and boxing, those were the two sports. And my father passed away a handful of years ago. There was no NBA, there was no NFL, so baseball was king. And that’s why I love baseball so much.”?

‘A-Rod’ further said, “2020 is gonna be a year for piloting. And many ways over the last two decades, baseball’s had a little bit of a straight jacket. And the NBA and the NFL has flown by us. And I think flown by us because as good as us, they’ve been brave. We have an opportunity this year, that any disruptive, naughty, radical thought that we’ve had about baseball, we should let it fly.”?
