In a light-hearted manner, Manning asked Smith to hit out at one team from among the Yankees, and Knicks. Smith didn’t take much time to choose his pick and take a dig.?
Speaking to Manning, Smith said, “I’ll answer it anyway. It’ll probably be the Knicks. I would hate the Knicks. The reason why is because, even though I love the Knicks, they are the ones who break my heart all the time. So they deserve my hatred and I am fair.”?

Smith continued, saying, “The Yankees don’t deserve it as much as they do. Because at least they are relevant. So that would be my answer.”?
How did the Yankees’ campaign turn out??
The Yankees maintained the top spot in the zonal rankings throughout the majority of the season. They ran rampant in the first half of the regular season.
