NBA star Patrick Beverley only recently discovered that news and his shocking reaction sent the MLB fans into a frenzy.?

Jose Altuve made his MLB debut with the Astros in 2011. He defends as the second baseman. Altuve is an eight-time All-Star player with one World Series championship.?
Patrick Beverley is a popular basketball player who also hosts his own podcast titled, ‘Pat Bev Pod’. Beverley plays in the NBA for the Los Angeles Lakers as the point guard. Thus, Beverley is now a teammate of the legendary LeBron James. Earlier, Beverley played for the Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Clippers, and Minnesota Timberwolves, respectively.
Prior to that, he also played in basketball leagues in Ukraine, Greece, and Russia, respectively. Beverley made one All-Star appearance each in Ukraine and Russia and also won one trophy each in Greece and Russia.?

So Patrick Beverley got into a discussion about the MLB World Series in a recent episode on his podcast. At one point, Beverley’s podcast co-host Adam Ferrone asked Beverley about his pick to win the World Series. Beverley straightaway chose the Astros as this year’s World Series winners, considering the Astros’ dominant form.?
However, Ferrone followed up by informing Beverley about the Astros cheating scandal during the 2017 MLB season. Ferrone mentioned how Altuve got wired up by his team management. Beverley was dumbstruck by the comments, as he seemingly had no clue about the incident. So Beverley then made a change in his choice.?

While the Astros ended as runners-up last year, they will surely seek a result reversal against the Philadelphia Phillies.?
