Jordan added saying, “I think he’s gonna roll up his sleeves, he’s gonna dive in. And he’s gonna try to do the best that he can in terms of reconnecting me back to the city in Miami and blah, blah, blah. I don’t know how I can be a you know, part of it. Derek Jeter as a franchise owner?
Having retired from his playing days in 2014, Jeter succeeded in becoming a co-owner of the Miami Marlins in 2017. Jordan bought minor shares in the franchise. Jeter also took command as the CEO of the franchise. Unfortunately, his administration failed in meeting its goals and he resigned in 2022.?
