2022 NBA Slam Dunk Contest champion, Obi Toppin, who recently signed a whopping $22 million contract with the Knicks for four years, made a shocking divulgence about the Major League Baseball team he supports.
Which New York MLB team does Obi Toppin support?
In a video posted by the New York Knicks, Obi Toppin talks about having the privilege of making the first pitch at Citi Field, along with a potential dream of being able to do the same at Yankee Stadium.

Toppin said, “I’m a Yankees fan, but I threw the pitch for the Mets. But, we going to get on that Yankee field one day. We got to.”
Earlier this year, in August, Obi Toppin, along with Timmy Trumpet, threw out the first pitch before the Mets-Dodgers game at Citi Field.

Notably, on Monday, the New York Mets bid adieu to MLB 2022 after facing a humiliating 1-2 defeat to San Diego Padres at Citi Field despite 100 season victories and regular dominance all through the season.
