In a recent article, GQ?s Matthew Roberson ranked Brunson first and Judge second on the list for the King of New York Sports. In the article, he said this about the Knicks guard, ?Getting the Knicks back to the playoffs (their first in a full season since 2013) made Brunson an instant hero in his debut season at MSG, where he?s proven time and again that he has an immense amount of dawg in him.??

He also highlighted some of Judge?s achievements, such as breaking the AL home run record last season. This landed Judge a massive $360 million deal. Furthermore, the star outfielder was finally named the Yankees? captain. But Brunson has been at the center of a fantastic season for the Knicks and a possible title run.

Will the New York Knicks win the NBA Championship this year?

The Knicks hold a commanding 3-1 lead over the Cleveland Cavaliers in the first round of the NBA playoffs. Despite this and the fantastic play of Jalen Brunson, most experts do not consider the Knicks to be a title contender. If anything, they are an outlier or a possible dark horse. For now, the team will be solely focused on winning the first round. Beyond that, nothing is certain yet.
