Vladimir Guerrero Jr. just won the Home Run Derby at the All-Star weekend. It was a massive moment for the Blue Jays star as he beat Randy Arozarena in the final round. But ESPN made a gigantic blunder while interviewing Guerrero Jr. after the win.
In a graphic that appeared under his name on TV, they called him Cuban-born. Considering he was born in Montreal, Canada, this is a major oversight. In a Tweet, Gomez said, “Cuban-born? 🤔”.
