Despite being an NBA icon, LeBron James has always made time for his family. He is an excellent father and enjoys quality activities with all three of his children. Back in 2018, he showed off his baseball prowess while playing a family softball game. In a video shared by TMZ in 2018, he can be seen defending a hit made by his wife. James leaps extremely high to safely grab what would have been a solid hit. 

The NBA superstar showed off his freakish athleticism but in different surroundings. Although James recently overthrew Kareem Abdul-Jabbar right in front of his eyes, this play was impressive in its own right. If the Lakers superstar had picked up the sport earlier, he might have had a career in it. But most experts claim that to be true about James and any sport.

He focused on basketball and football in high school but never played baseball. Despite this, he has been seen at games before, primarily supporting the Cleveland Indians, who are now the Guardians. But ‘The King’ didn’t stick to one team and was also seen sporting a New York Yankees cap. Although he never played the game, James did take the mound in a commercial.

James Suited Up as an Alter Ego for a Sprite Commercial

LeBron James suited up as the baseball player ‘Big Taste’ in a series of commercials for Sprite. The Lakers star can be seen looking slightly different from his usual self. Furthermore, while appearing on the mound in a white and green-themed baseball uniform, he looks like a true pitcher. This was one of the times that fans got a glimpse of what James might have looked like as an MLB superstar.
