One of Rodriguez?s most notable investments happens to be the ownership of an NBA team. Rodriguez entered the ownership group of the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2021, jointly with e-commerce entrepreneur Marc Lore.

With the NBA season in progress, the Timberwolves are proceeding with their campaign. So Rodriguez sent an uplifting message through social media to the Timberwolves with a promotional clip ahead of Monday’s game.

Alex Rodriguez and Marc Lore became official co-owners of the Timberwolves in 2021, signing a $1.5 billion agreement. Although they joined the franchise with a 20% stake, they can thus become majority shareholders by 2023.

In such a case, they would take over the primary ownership of Glen Taylor. Nonetheless, the $350 million man Rodriguez has already become a leading member of the Timberwolves family.?

The Timberwolves faced the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday. The two teams clashed at the Moda Center.

So, Rodriguez posted a reel promoting the game on his Instagram account, prior to the proceedings. Putting up the post, Rodriguez wrote, “Monday, Let’s Go!” with a classic tune by The Alan Parsons Project.?

Unfortunately, the Timberwolves are presently going through an inconsistent phase with mixed results. Likewise, the Timberwolves also succumbed to a defeat on Monday. The Trail Blazers won the game, defeating the Timberwolves by a 133-112 margin.?
