New York Yankees are a team, whose fanbase boasts celebrities and superstars. An NBA superstar had the chance to hang out with Aaron Judge before one of the Yankees? games. Most recently, that NBA star revealed his Bronx Bombers dream, also revealing the extent of his fandom.?

Although the Yankees? season started rough, Judge has managed to lead them on a good run of form. Hours after meeting with the Bombers? captain, this NBA star revealed his aspirations as a lifelong fan.

Minnesota Timberwolves star Karl-Anthony Towns was recently at a New York Yankees game. He met Aaron Judge and even threw out the ceremonial first pitch. The Timberwolves big man also revealed what a massive Yankees fan he is. Towns said that his first love was baseball and that he had dreamed of suiting up for the Bombers. YES Network shared a video of Towns admitting his Yankees dream on Twitter.?

In the video, the Timberwolves star says, ?I love baseball. It was actually my first love. I really wanted to be a professional baseball player. I of course wanted to play for the Yankees?. He further said, “Life took me a different route. I’m not going to complain about how it went. It went pretty alright, so I’m happy.”?

Towns seemed to really love the Bombers and enjoyed his experience at the game. He was able to interact with Judge and even got one of the Yankees captain?s bats as a gift. Furthermore, his first pitch seemed to be a lucky charm as the New York-based team got the win 6-5 against the Baltimore Orioles.?

The Yankees lost the second game of the series

Although the Yankees have been in great form, they lost the second game of the series. They led for a large portion of the game, but a pitching meltdown allowed the Orioles to come back and win. With this, the Bombers will look to win the final game of the series before hosting the San Diego Padres. It will be interesting to see how the Yankees play and whether they can close the home series with a win.
