Alex Rodriguez possesses a great business acumen. Though he left the MLB fields, he didn’t cut his relationship with sports. Instead, he stepped into the NBA world as a team owner. Along with his partner Marc Lore, the former Yankees legend owns stakes in the two Minnesota teams. Though the 2023 season was a disappointing one for both teams, the MLB legend is still hoping for a Championship next year. However, it has come to light that the duo plans to expand the NBA ownership and become the majority owner. Though the process is not challenging, there are still clouds of uncertainty.

Currently, A-Rod, along with his partner, has 40% of the ownership. However, they intend to increase to 60%, which requires them to pay their 3rd installment before the deadline ends in December. Things seem easy, but there’s a twist in the story that puts a question mark on the future of their ownership expansion.

During a recent interview, reputed journalist and presenter Darren Wolfson shared his thoughts on A-Rod and Lore’s plans to buy 60% ownership of the Minnesota Teams. Per Wolfson, as the two partners suddenly started behaving “awkwardly” as the trade deadline approached, and speculations are on the rise.

Speaking on the interview, Wolfson said, “There still continues to be doubt about Marc Lore, Alex Rodriguez getting all the way to the finish line.” While both partners are silent, and Marc Lore even disappeared from social media, the confusion and speculation reached another height. The insider suspects that maybe the Marc-Rodriguez duo will bring multiple partners to get the deal done.

Further, he expressed his worries about the disappearance of Marc Lore. As Rodriguez has been appearing in several media, it doesn’t look like he is going anywhere, but the other one has not been active in either mainstream or on social media. About that, Wolfson mentioned that his trusted league people are “raising doubt” about this sudden disappearance. However, there’s no confirmed news about what the partners are planning or whether they will really bring other partners to close the deal.

The former Yankees legend proves the fact that learning has no age. Despite his several years of baseball experience, he is still trying to learn basketball. The legend is not ready to leave it to someone else. More specifically, he is trying to avoid his dependency on technology to analyze player performances. So, he used to visit NBA games with Anthony Edwards and have first-hand experiences. This will further help him plan his team for the next season.
