Sports personalities often go to watch their favorite pastime sports, shouting and cheering for their team. However, sometimes these cheers prove to be a lucky charm for the team on the field. The Citizens Bank Park audience witnessed a similar incident during Thursday’s NLDS Game 4 between the Atlanta Braves and the Philadelphia Phillies. A renowned NBA entity was spotted cheering for the Phillies, which ultimately proved the lucky charm that led the Phillies another step forward to their World Series dream.

The Phillies conquest seems to be unstoppable this year. They got a significant blow in Game 2 of their best-of-five series. But their return showed their dedication and enthusiasm this season. After the Game 3 win, the Phillies again blew up the Braves 3-1 in Game 4, clinching the NLCS berth.

The Philadelphia 76ers show their support for the local baseball team’s World Series campaign while preparing for the upcoming NBA season. The Thursday game was a crucial one for the Phillies. Winning or losing would decide their NLCS qualifying chances. While the fans were in tension, they spotted 76ers’ Joel Embiid in the stadium, wearing a Bryce Harper jersey.

During Embiid’s presence, the Phillies not only qualified for the NLCS but also saw Braves bidding goodbye to their World Series hopes, repeating the 2022 playoff history. They wrapped up the Braves in the playoffs twice in a row. Both teams tried hard, but the Phillies got the last laugh.

Nick Castellanos became the first player with the record for having multiple homers in consecutive postseason games. Trea Turner garnered two singles and a double, with a solo homer in the fifth. Matt Strahm struck out pinch-hitter Vaughn Grissom to contribute to the victory. Even their rookie player, Johan Rojas, did his best to stop Acuna Jr. from getting an extra base that could have made things difficult for the Phillies.

Nonetheless, an unfortunate incident occurred involving Harper. Following his collision with Matt Olson, he instinctively clutched his injured elbow. After a brief examination, the two-time NL MVP flexed his elbow and continued to play the game. After the win, the team cheered the outfielder with a slogan, “Attaboy, Harper! Attaboy!”

However, the NBA MVP was not the only guest who visited the Phillies game on Thursday.
