Home/Golf

After bidding farewell to the game that MLB legend Derek Jeter loved dearly, he shifted his focus to a sport he had never tried his hand at. 5x World Champ tried his skill at the sport he never thought he would and became slightly better at it, aka golf. Notably, when the athlete started playing golf, contrary to what many would have thought, Derek was not at all good at golf.

However, it’s been over eight years since then, and Captain Clutch has become a lot better at it. And now, when it’s only a few weeks before Jeter’s 49th birthday, the MLB great is all set to perfect his golf shots alongside none other than the Olympic legend Michael Phelps.

And hence, once again, Derek Jeter is all set to appear at American Family Insurance Champion, also known as Celebrity Foursome. The golf event is set to be held on June 10, 2023. This date is only three weeks before Captain Clutch turns one short of making a half-century.

Who knows how Jeter will be celebrating his birthday? But one thing that is known for sure, is that Derek Jeter will be attending the Celebrity Foursome, alongside the Olympic legend, who won a record number of gold medals in swimming, Michael Phelps. The event is hosted by Andy North, and to complete the foursome is the pro golfer, Zach J. Johnson.

Since the host of the event, Andy North himself is also a professional golfer, chances of either Phelps or Jeter winning are low. But neither of them has ever backed down from a challenge.
