The alleged playboy and the baseball legend, Derek Jeter, had quite a history of being in relationships. Most of which to this day is still rumored as no proof ever got found, and neither did any party made it official.

However, one rumor, although denied by the former baseball player, lies somewhere around. And it said that the shortstop used to send gift baskets to the women he hooked up with, with a signed baseball.

Once in an interview on the Dallas-based “Shan & RJ Show,” Hannah Jeter (formerly Davis) talked about her then-fiance’s tradition of giving gift baskets to the women he connected with.

Did Hannah believe in the tradition of Derek Jeter giving gift baskets?

Not only did the then 23-year-old supermodel deny her (then) fiance’s tradition of sending out gift baskets, but she also denied ever receiving one.

In her words“I never received a gift basket, that’s all I can tell you.”

Furthermore, she said, “It’s really sad that anyone could believe something that’s such a stupid story and makes no sense. I mean, what are you going to do?”

Jeter got into a relationship with the supermodel after breaking up with “Friday Night Lights” star Minka Kelly with whom also the rumors of engagement once came up.

How did Jeter’s gifting tradition get out in the media?

Even though Jeter himself has denied the story of giving gift baskets to women after hooking up with them, one of the friends of the girl he hooked up with revealed something.

He said that he forgot he had hooked up with the girl before, so he gifted her the same gift basket for the second time.

According to a source, Jeter used to take girls to his NYC apartment and used to send out a car the following day to send them back home. In the car, a gift basket would always be waiting for that girl with signed memorabilia, mostly a baseball.
