Here’s what makes the Glasnow-Murphy love story so special. Their story goes back to 2021 when the current Dodgers’ pitcher was with the Tampa Bay Rays. As soon as he spotted Murphy, “Tyler Glasnow asked the team photographer to zoom in on a girl. They’ve now been dating for three years.” That’s right, there are clips displaying how he asked his girlfriend out, and as elaborate as it sounds, it had a great outcome. 

Glasnow shared his thoughts about the act. He said, “I didn’t think anything would come of it, but then I met her, and she was awesome. She has a really good personality, loves to travel and is really fun, so it’s super easy.” Based on their social media, it is quite evident that they enjoy each other’s company. But to this day, Murphy doesn’t believe that she was the first person he has ever thrown a ball at with his number on it.
