Kyrgios is missing his idol during the quarantine. He uploaded an Instagram story wherein he had written – “Miss you Kobe”. The story also had a video that compared Kobe Bryant to Michael Jordan.

It must be noted that Nick is a fan of both the basketball legends. In fact, he even has tattoos that honor both these stars. He had once revealed the reason he got these tattoos through an Instagram video.

“I wore his shirt the day he died at the Australian Open and cried during that day,” he said in the video. “I watch basketball every day and it is an important part of my life. I can never imitate what Kobe did, but there may be times in my life when I try.”

Kyrgios has a lot of the fire and the aggression that Kobe had. However, he is yet to imbibe the champion spirit. That will happen when the Australian star starts winning some Grand Slams. He can learn something from Bryant who was a four-time All-Star MVP in the NBA. That will certainly help him in improving his championship record in the majors.
