On April 1, we expect a few pranks to fly around- some foolish, some amusing, some plain stupid. Minecraft, however, gave us something amazing.
Minecraft can be so amazing that even it’s pranks are crafty as hell. Well not so much last year, but this time around, they gave fans a gift more than a prank(maybe to make up for their faux pas last time).
All you had to do was log in to the game, write something in a book and throw it into a nether portal. As you walked through the shifting colors of the portal, you found yourself transported to one of 2 billion possible worlds.

What you wrote in the book decided the world you were taken into. Now that is a gift to any Minecraft fan if there ever was one.
The countless new dimensions were limited-time snapshots that you could explore and drink in.
Snapshots are something of a beta version that players can play and review for Microsoft. The snapshot called 20W14infinite won’t stick around for too long though.
It had it’s bugs here and there, but it was impressive nonetheless.
however, the only drawback was it was available only for the Java Edition.
Here we take a look at some of the most jaw-dropping worlds that users discovered.
Some amazing new worlds

Some of the dimensions and structures that users came upon absolutely confounded them.

Incidentally, this guy below had a theory about the new snapshot.
Wait wait wait wait wait.

Thanks to the #Minecraft #20w14infinite update, every unique username now has its own dimension. MY westingtyler dimension is made of grey glazed terra cotta, lava, ice, wool, and note blocks that play the F4# note as they burn in lava. FOREVER. They added Mystcraft Ages! pic.twitter.com/5jJmRrQc3H

Perhaps, the prank was to give this gift to the users for just a day or so..
