He recently gifted a young basketball enthusiast 10 pairs of shoes. Shaquille O’Neal himself wears a size 22 shoe, and when he saw the plight of that young kid who wore a size 18, he could not help himself.
CBS covered the entire ordeal from Fulton, Atlanta. Shaquille surprised the young man with shoes that would last him a long time. Zach Keith may have just been 13 years of age, but his shoe size was starting to become a hurdle. His mother could not afford to buy him sneakers as the ones in his size were far more expensive.

Keith’s mom almost teared up when he finally got his hands on a pair of dress shoes. The mother and son were extremely thankful to Shaquille O’Neal for what he had done for them. O’Neal once also bought a young kid a pair of sneakers and a coat that sent him into tears. Shaquille’s giving nature has been a highlight of his career. The youngster Keith would never forget meeting his idol. O’Neal’s gesture was heartfelt and touching, according to Keith’s mother.
The shoe owner Friedman was the original inspiration for the charitable act. Shaquille O’Neal himself had a lot of difficulties finding shoes to pursue his basketball career. Friedman shoe store would help out whenever Shaq needed sneakers. The same favor was returned by O’Neal to Keith and his mom. It was truly one of the most incredible days for Keith as he looked visibly happy. Keith got a chance to meet his basketball idol, get some shoes and even learn some basketball moves!

Shaq refused to renew his contract with Reebok as he did not want to sell his shoes at a premium price of $180-$200. Shaquille O’Neal wanted to make a change and better society. Instead, his Shaq brand sells shoes for $40-$50 in stores like Walmart. This is just so everyone can afford to play the sport they love.
