German driver Mick Schumacher is quickly showing the world why he is Michael Schumacher’s son. The youngster continues to develop in European Formula 3, according to Gerhard Berger. So far this season, Mick has taken three wins in 2018 – each coming in the last three events.
Ticked off Schumacher’s list are Spa, Silverstone and Misano. Now, the 19-year old has moved into fourth place in the F3 championship. Leading the F3 championship for the moment is Red Bull prodigy Dan Ticktum.
Schumacher Jr. currently drives for the Prema Powerteam F3 team. His improved performance in the second half of the season will fuel hopes that he can follow his father’s path to F1.

Former F1 driver, Berger raced against Michael in his career, and replace him at Benetton. The Austrianhas admitted that he can see traces of the seven-time world champion in the 19-year-old.
“The guy suddenly shows the Schumacher genes,” Berger said.
“He has developed and is showing some rough edges.
“I hope it goes on like this. Everything is open to him. Everyone would be happy if Mick steps in his father’s footsteps.”
Schumacher Jr’s upturn in form may well catch the attention of Liberty Media, with Chase Carey aware of the potential windfall of having the famous name back in F1 again.
“That would be a great story, of course,” Carey said recently.
“Michael Schumacher still plays a unique role in Formula 1 as a world champion. He is and will remain an icon of our sport.
