Gyllenhaal, who is portraying the character of ‘Dalton’ in the movie, recently appeared on the MMA Junkie show and shared some interesting details about this remake. While the MMA community has been aware of and is excited to see the Mystic Mac on screen with a Hollywood A-lister, Gyllenhaal dropped another little nugget for the fans to rejoice. Yes, Michael Chandler will also be making a cameo in the film.

During the interview, Gyllenhaal was asked about how he dealt with facing a professional fighter in the movie. He replied, “Well, I mean mostly I’ve worked with a lot of ex- fighters, but they’ve learned how to be stunt people. So, in that sense, they know how to fake a fight. I think Conor had a learning curve in that; you know. You know I worked with Chandler too, which is kind of interesting in that sense that you know both of them in the sequences we did. But I remember sort of taking a hit in a movie is you’re not taking it, you’re selling it. “
