The Mexican Grand Prix 2019 could potentially become the venue where Lewis Hamilton clinches the world championship. If he does, it will be the second time that he has won the championship at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez.
Lewis Hamilton could only muster 3rd in Japan, while teammate Valtteri Bottas won from Sebastian Vettel. This weekend though, Hamilton and Mercedes are not particularly confident about winning the race.
The Mexican Grand Prix 2019 made a return to Formula One in 2015 after a long hiatus. While Hamilton has won the inaugural race, the last two editions were seized by Red Bull driver Max Verstappen.

Lewis Hamilton enters the weekend, inching ever closer to his sixth career championship. However, the Briton will be wary of a threat from his teammate and closest rival Valtteri Bottas, The Finn is fresh off a win in Suzuka and will be fired up to continue the streak. Also waiting to pounce, will be Red Bull’s Max Verstappen, and a resurgent Ferrari led by Charles LeClerc and Sebastian Vettel.

The Mexican Grand Prix 2019 race weekend begins with Free Practice 1 on Friday 25th October at 10:00 AM local time and 20:30 PM IST. This will he followed by FP2 at 14:00 PM local time and 12:30 AM IST. On Saturday, FP3 kicks off at 12:00 PM local time and 8:30 PM IST, followed by qualifying at 3:00 PM local and 12:30 AM IST. Finally, on Sunday, the race begins at 1:10 PM local time and 12:40 AM IST.
The Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez was previously known as the Magdalena Mixhuca Circuit. However, it was renamed after the passing of Pedro Rodriguez and Ricardo Rodriguez. One of the most famous sections is the Stadium section in the last part of the lap. When drivers approach the Stadium section, they go under the stands, which is part of a fairly slow section of the circuit.
