Man Utd starlet Mason Greenwood is contemplating China to revive his career

United suspended Greenwood last year in January after images and they posted audio of the alleged assault on social media. According to the reports from The Sun, the player wasn’t happy with the stance of the club. He wanted the club to stand by him during difficult times.

The same report further claims he is already thinking of playing away from the United, with China being the most likely destination. However, Greenwood continues to retain the No.11 jersey and a place in the Manchester United squad. The club will soon decide on his future after opening an internal investigation on Thursday.

Greenwood has “begrudgingly” accepted the stance of United after the news of the internal investigation. It buys more time for United to think about whether bring back Greenwood to the squad or end his contract mutually. It will be a tough decision for the club to make with the stakes high.

Only time will tell where the gifted player’s future lies. But on his side, Greenwood is already exploring his options with China the most appealing. He could perhaps get good playing time in the league away from England and the alleged assault case. In addition, he will get paid good money to play in the Chinese Super League to revive his career.
