Scott McTominay has extended his contract with Manchester United until June 2023, with the option to sign for a further year, Manchester United has confirmed.
Speaking to MUTV after signinig the contract, McTominay said ?Manchester United has been my life since the age of five and playing for the club I?ve always supported is all I have ever wanted to do?.
McTominay?s extending his stay are good signs for the club, and the player, who was highly regarded by Jose Mourinho during his brief time at United. Mourinho went on to award McTominay with the ?Managers Player of the Year? award, one that was not on the list of awards of the night back in May 2018.

McTominay also received a lot of praise by his teammates and even by the legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson during his public meeting with Mourinho.

Other than McTominay, Manchester United also expect start players David De Gea and Anthony Martial to sign long term contracts. Both parties for both players expect the formalities to be completed soon.

United caretaker manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said,

?Scott is a young midfielder and is constantly improving. He’s an intelligent player and wants to learn all the time.
