Louis Van Gaal avoided a fifth straight defeat as Manchester United played a goal-less draw against Chelsea at Old Trafford on Monday Night.
The home side were in control for the majority of the game. David de Gea also made fine saves from John Terry & Pedro, as Chelsea lacked the real punch in attack without the suspended Diego Costa & the injured Loic Remy.
In the second half, Nemanja Matic wasted a glorious chance to break the deadlock as he skied the ball and couldn’t provide the finish that was needed.

@ChelseaFC this is a disgrace. To bring a young player on who wants to win, wants to play with 30 seconds left. It is shameful.

Rooney misses from close range. If this is the end for Van Gaal, that was a fitting full-stop.
