Bangladesh’s world cup hero Mohammad Mahmudullah was declared fit from his finger injury and has been selected in the 14 man squad for the first 2 ODI’s of the three match ODI series against the Proteas along with Anamul Haque.
Mahmudullah missed the home series against India which Bangladesh won 2-1 due to a fracture on his left index finger whereas Anamul was injured during the World Cup and was sent back home from Australia and hence had to miss the subsequent series against Pakistan and India.

The all-important ODI series starts on Friday, 10 July 2015 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka. The second and third ODI will be held on July 12 and 15 in Dhaka and Chittagong. It would be interesting to see how this series pans out as Bangladesh are high on confidence defeating India and Pakistan in the previous two ODI series. Addition of Mahmudullah and Taskin will be a boon to Bangladesh’s chances of winning it.
