Following the conclusion of the first week of the 2020 NFL season, EA has released the player ratings for Madden NFL 21. While the devs have only made two changes in the top 20 players, there are many big gainers as well as losers after the first week.

Russel Wilson, from Seattle Seahawks, saw an increase of one point in his overall rating, taking it to 98. He gained a point each for his awareness and pressure throws. Zack Martin, from Dallas Cowboys, on the other hand, saw his rating go down a point after week 1, taking his overall to 97. He lost a point each in awareness and run block power.

EA tweeted out the Week 1 ratings and used Aaron Rodgers of Green Bay Packers for the poster. He had delivered an outstanding performance in the first week and so received buffs in his short and deep accuracy.

Among the other gainers in the top 100 were Davante Adams from the Packers, Jamal Adams from the Seahawks, Josh Jacobs from Raiders, and Mark Andrews from the Ravens.

While a lot of fans are satisfied with these changes, many are also disappointed.

One disappointed fan said, “It’s cuz the guys who do the ratings don’t understand football“.

Additionally, a few users, who had come across some bugs in the game, took this opportunity to post their complaints on Twitter. These bugs include lags and freezes in the game.
