It takes patience to watch an entire golf tournament. Although it takes four days to finish one, sometimes it is hard to see your favorite golfer taking more than the needed time to make a simple shot. The LPGA player Danielle Kang has done something similar at the Gainbridge Tournament and has become the talk of the community on the internet.

The Gainbridge event was an opportunity for Kang to secure her second win of 2022. She had just won last week’s Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions. However, Lydia Ko of New Zealand outplayed her and won the title after the 4th round.
While Ko won the title with a 14-under par score, Danielle secured her second place with 13-under. Like at the Tournament of Champions event, Kang impressed the crowd with her multiple birdies. However, her putting skill was not up to par at the Gainbridge.

There came a moment in the tournament where she took more than enough time to analyze the putt. In the end, though, she couldn’t make the putt. Although it is normal for a golfer not to make a putt on the first try, a brutal video of it is going viral on the internet.
Can Danielle Kang make her putt before someone finishes running half a mile?
In the video, the editor has brought Danielle’s putting video and a video of athletes running half a mile together to see whether she can make a putt before the athletes finish the race or not.
Can @daniellekang hit an 8 foot par putt before someone can run half a mile? Let's find out! pic.twitter.com/qz6GAV9oR5

Although she hit the ball before the athletes finished the race, Kang’s putt didn’t reach the hole. So, technically, she couldn’t finish putting before the race ended. This video has stirred many golf fans, and some of them reacted badly with regard to the pace of most LPGA Tournaments.
Real simple, ban the literal alignment aid on the ball. Take that away and she doesn't spend all that time making sure the line is juuuussstttt right then resetting it when the wind shifts. It's a scourge at all levels.

Hey at least the @LPGA is serious about pretending to care about slow play

Some even compared her time to make a putt with the slow play of the PGA Tour player Kevin Na.
While most people complained about the slow pace of the LPGA Tour players, some tried to rationalize the situation with technical explanations.
Bad take CPG. Can you NOT see the wind blowing the hole all over the place???
— Michael Eatmon (@cal_heel) January 29, 2022
As you can see the winds were blowing 15+ MPH. Less than 90 seconds is well under Kevin Na’s 3 minutes to putt.
Let @daniellekang do her thing

Many fans explained that the LPGA Tour receives a low viewership count because of this reason.

@LPGA need to do something. Shot penalties only solution. I love watching the @lpga tour, but bores me to tears the time taken like this.
Yes men not much better a lot of the time, but come on, where are the penalties?— Ian McInally (@ianmcinally1) January 30, 2022
That’s why no one watches that crap on tv. I went to a lpga event last year. Awful
