With the 2023 Cognizant Founders Cup, the LPGA Tour will make a reappearance this week. The event, which will take place at the Upper Montclair Country Club in Clifton, New Jersey, over the course of four days starting on May 11, will begin on that day. A field of 144 women will compete in this event, which will be the 10th of the 2023 LPGA Tour season.

The Cognizant Founders Cup in 2023 will feature a variety of well-known female golfers, including Lydia Ko, Nelly Korda, Jin Young Ko, and others. The Rolex Women’s World Golf Ranking predicts that 34 of the top 50 golfers will compete in the tournament, making it a very competitive event. In a contest for the most wanted prize, the most well-known names in women’s golf will face off against one another.

This week, the most recognizable names in women’s golf will square off against one another in a match for a whopping $3 million purse. According to the chart that details the distribution of prize money on the LPGA Tour, the golfer who wins the event this week will walk away with a substantial check of $450,000. This sum is equivalent to the normal payout of fifteen percent of the total prize purse.

In addition to the money prize, the winner of the event will also get 500 points towards the CME Globe competition, which will go on all season. The winner will also get a lot of benefits, like a two-year exemption from the LPGA Tour, which will give them security and the chance to play in other tournaments.

The Cognizant Founders Cup will have a cut after 36 holes to determine who advances in the competition and is eligible to win prize money. The top 65 participants, as well as those who tied for first place, will each receive prize money based on the final score. The person who comes in second place in the competition will still receive $282,977 even though the winner of the game takes home the majority of the prize money. The golfer who finishes third will receive $205,279, and the player who finishes fourth will receive $158,799 for their efforts.
