The Austrian Grand Prix gave its viewers some much-needed wheel-to-wheel battles. Additionally, it also gave us some fine examples of fair play and respect. One such instance was when lewis took to his team radio to appreciate Lando Norris’ driving.
Hamilton had just managed to overtake the McLaren as he said, “Such a great driver, Lando.” The 21-year-old was taken by surprise as he saw the seven-time- world champion appreciate his driving.

The surprised driver bumped his chest and responded, “Love you, Lewis”. It must be both reassuring and rewarding to be recognized by a legend of the sport.
Lando Norris- a rising star
While Max Verstappen’s victory was no surprise, all eyes were on Lando Norris. The young Brit placed P2 in Saturday’s qualifying and only missed pole by 0.048s. He then went on to win his fourth podium at P3. He won the hearts of the Red Bull fans dressed in orange, and even declared them to be his.

Norris has been on a great run ever since his first podium exactly a year ago. He has been pushing McLaren to the top of the constructor’s leaderboard- giving them a very stable position in third. He has even signed a multi-year contract with the team, which keeps him in the blue and orange outfit till at least 2023.
Norris has solidified his name as a driver this season. Being the only driver to score points in every race, his competition should be worried. Even though he has the reputation of being the baby of the grid, on track he has proven to be a veritable monster.

With great strides of improvement in every race, Lando Norris has become a driver to look out for. This is only his third season as an F1 driver, and may only be the stepping stones for a future world champion.
