Serena Williams talks about her support system

Among the repertoire of interesting questions, Ghahramani asked Williams about her support system, and how the people close to her stand by her, especially during the tough time because of the coronavirus pandemic.

The 23-time Grand Slam champion mentioned having several people in her support system and each one of them holding a crucial place in her life. The tennis star expressed the importance of people who can be completely honest with you so that one doesn’t tread the wrong path.

“That’s a tough question because I have a lot of people in my support system and then there’s people that I go to for certain things and there’s people that I go to for other things. So, I think it’s good to know who’s good at what, who’s motivating at what, and…. who can be completely honest with you when you need that as well. Williams’s husband, Alexis Ohanian, is frequently spotted in the stands to support her partner alongside their little daughter Olympia. The father-daughter duo has been a constant source of strength for Williams on and off the court.
