The NFL world is more than the games and stars. It also has made significant strides by engaging in causes and supporting people and communities. Earlier this year, Damar Hamlin, Buffallo’s safety suffered from a cardiac injury and fans rallied to raise almost $10 million to help out the athlete.   After his recovery, he donated back a good chunk of almost $9.1 million to his non-profit organization. This is not a one-off as the fans and stars have consistently shown their support for various causes.

June witnessed popular YouTuber and comedian Tom Grossi’s ’30 Days’ Project to raise funds for a worthy cause. Grossi joined Rich Eisen Show on the last day of his campaign, to reflect on his project. He also spilled an amusing anecdote of how the campaign originated from a random shower thought.

Grossi has always wanted to contribute to a major cause over the years and the idea of a 30-day challenge hit him in the middle of a shower on a lonely Valentine’s Day.

“I’m in the shower on Valentine’s Day washing my hair and had the greatest idea it could possibly. ‘cause that’s where you have them. It’s in the shower on Valentine’s Day and I was getting ready for a nice moment,  like a nice candlelit dinner and it got to a point was like, wait. what if I do it in 30 days and  I was like, you know what, maybe I could do this and for 2 and half months I planned it out before I even said a word”.
