Lewis Hamilton completed an absolute stunning race to win for the 5th time at the Canadian Grand Prix, while Vettel and Bottas completed the remaining podium places. This means that Hamilton is nine points behind Rosberg. More pertinently, Rosberg has picked up 16 points in his last three races; he bagged 100 in his first four.
Vettel overtook Hamilton, while Rosberg had a miserable start after being tyre to tyre with Hamilton at the first corner. From then it was an intriguing tactical battle by Hamilton and Mercedes to script another fine victory.
Ferrari and Red Bull got their strategy wrong as they opted for a two pit stop race, which enabled Hamilton to win the race without passing Vettel even once.

Rosberg, who had to fight from 10th position and a puncture later gave it all but could not pass a determined Max Verstappen for 4th position.

DRS against him, ruined tyres and Verstappen still keeps a Mercedes behind him. What F1 would be like with 22 Max's in the race…
