“Let Go of the Spotlight”: Fans Split Over Ric Flair’s Latest Wish of Achieving New WWE Accolade

The 16-time WWE World Champion Ric Flair gathered countless titles and achievements to his name through five long decades. The Nature Boy left a fantastic career behind, which made him popular even among non-wrestling fans across the globe.

But the two-time Hall of Famer doesn’t seem to be content with his titles yet. The 16-time world champion came up with another shocking demand in honor of himself during a recent interaction.

Back in 2008, Flair had his first historic WWE Hall of Fame honor for his singles career just ahead of his last match. Then the second historic one came in 2012 as a part of the Four Horsemen faction, making him the first-ever WWE star to hold The Hall of Fame title twice in history. Again, he is now eying for a third one to stand apart from every other legendary fellow superstar who stopped their run as a two-time inductee.

Fans came up with mixed reactions after Ric Flair’s shocking wish

During the recent episode of his podcast, To Be The Man, Ric Flair clearly hinted at his wish for a third Hall of Fame. He also spoke about the ongoing speculation of Dave Bautista being the headline attraction during WrestleMania Hollywood. Previously, The Animal didn’t want to thank his fans virtually on the occasion, hence opted to wait until the covid situation completely faded away for his induction to happen finally. Flair thinks that it will be great as it will pave the way for the induction of Evolution as well.

Evolution, one of the most influential stables in history, consists of the legendary foursome. With Triple H as the top guy, Flair being a wise adviser cum occasional wrestler, Dave Bautista, and Randy Orton being comparatively younger members, Evolution attained its deserved success.

However, with Flair’s clear expression of getting a third Hall of Fame for himself, fans didn’t wait to come up with their diverse opinions and judgments on Twitter. Some also hit their sarcastic streak on the former World Champion, considering his limitless desire to have more.

As every debate always had two sides, there are also some fans out there who believe in Evolution’s supremacy. They think that Ric Flair only deserves the third Hall of Fame (if at all) with Triple H, Randy Orton, and Batista by his side as a part of the Evolution family.

However, regardless of the opinions, we will have to wait to see if time will add another feather to his cap or not.
