Ashley Kaltwasser?is already a legend in the bikini division of?bodybuilding. She is an IFBB pro, and even at the age of 34, she is stronger and fit than someone younger than her. She is the best bikini competitor of all time given that she has one free Olympia title in her division and has two international wins. Along with that Ashley has 41 pro wins which is the most amount of achievements among any male or female competitor in the IFBB pro league history.

Apart from being a bodybuilding legend, she is also a track and field athlete and has achieved incredible feat at such a young age. Let?s get to know her and her career more.

Ashley Kaltwasser’s Childhood?

She was born on 22nd November 1988 in Ohio. She was involved in gymnastics and track and field from a young age. Finally, her coach suggested that she should move to bodybuilding and fitness competitions. Ashley finally decided to compete in bodybuilding in 2011 and found victory in the NPC Natural Northern USA Championships.

That was the start of a whirlwind career. In 2012 she won the Rock Star Bikini contest at the Arnold Sports Festival in Columbus, OH. The champion bodybuilder finally on her pro card in the same year at National Physique Committee Team Universe.

?Ashley had a substantial win in 2013 when she won her first Olympia. All these amazing achievements were not achieved without hard work and intense workouts. Let?s take a look at her workout routine that made her become the best bodybuilder in a division.

Her workout plans?

She generally concentrates on high-volume workouts. Kaltwasser sometimes even trains particular muscle groups for 20 sets in a single exercise session. This is the best way to get a more streamlined and lean physique that is required for her division.?

She has previously uploaded a YouTube video, showing her intense workout session with back-to-back reps just before the competition. The consistent diet and capability of staying in shape all year round is the reason that she is one of the best bodybuilding champions of all time.?

Most bodybuilders do not prefer competing more than five times in one year. However, Kaltwasser is such a capable athlete that she has completed in 14 competitions in one year (2021).?

Just like all other athletes, she is active on social media and interacts with her fans every day. She has 1 million followers on her Instagram handle and 67.8 K subscribers on YouTube. Kaltwasser recently shared her glorious moment of being in the top five in the 2023 Olympia on Instagram. Ashley posted a heartfelt confession about how grateful she was for all the moments.

She captioned the post saying, ?It’s never easy, but it’s always worth it. Grateful. I see it too often, someone finds success or has achieved something great, only to let their gratitude turn to greed. They may start to feel entitled or forget the “little steps” that got them there. Don’t forget where you came from or the people that helped get you there.??

How dedication to her craft is commendable, and it is also visible in a previous interview that she gave to Muscle and Fitness magazine.

Ashley talked about her decade-long career

She was?asked by Roger Rock Lockridge about her 10-year-long career?and whether she expected to compete in the 2023 Olympia as well. She was humble even after achieving the zenith of success. She said, ?Absolutely not. This journey has exceeded all my expectations. So, this is all icing on the cake now. Back when I was an amateur, my goal was to turn pro. After that, I just wanted to qualify for the Olympia. So, when I won that first one, no one expected me to win, and I didn?t even expect to win. To win it three times is incredible. Even placing third last year blew my mind.?

Finally, at the end of the interview, she also gave a hint at her future, and what she would like to do with her bodybuilding career.

Ashley Kaltwasser speaks about her future

When Roger asked her about her plans, she gave a candid answer and said that she was going to go with the flow. The IFBB pro bodybuilder also confessed that being a bikini division bodybuilder was not easy because the physique was always evolving.

Ashley was astonished that she could keep up with the changing expectations from her bodybuilding, division, and success till now. She is just in her 30s and has a long way to go if she decides to compete in the future.
