Tea Europe, yet again, spectacularly won the Laver Cup 2021 in Boston, America. However, this year, fans missed two tennis legends at Laver Cup – Rafael Nadal, and Roger Federer.
The Spaniard posted a video of the Laver Cup 2022 on his social media and asked the Swiss to play with him in the doubles event.

Rafael Nadal asks the Swiss to be his partner at Laver Cup 2022
This year, Team Europe felt the absence of Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal. Both of them are currently dealing with injuries; while Federer is recovering from his knee surgery, Rafa is dealing with an injured foot.
After Team Europe lifted the trophy at Boston, Rafael Nadal posted something on his Instagram that made tennis fans go crazy. The 20-time Grand Slam champion shared an IGTV of Laver Cup 2022 which is scheduled in London. The Spaniard’s caption said, “@RogerFederer doubles next year?” with a wink and biceps emoji.

It is evident now that Nadal is very excited to pair with his rival and close friend Roger Federer at Laver Cup 2022. Surely, it would be fascinating to watch the dynamic duo back again at Laver Cup 2022. Rafael Nadal has played in 2 Laver Cup tournaments while Federer has participated in 3 Laver Cup events.

Roger Federer at Laver Cup 2021
Despite recovering from his knee injury, Roger Federer made a surprising appearance at Laver Cup in Boston. The former World No. 1 received a huge round of applaud and a standing ovation. The Maestro was humbled by the reception he received at the event.
One of the founders of the Laver Cup, Federer has triumphed at the Laver Cup three times from Team Europe in 2017, 2018, and 2019. He has also said on several occasions that Laver Cup is his favorite tournament and loves to be a part of it.
