Swansea have now turned their attention to sign Emmanuel Adebayor from Tottenham. He hasn’t been featuring regularly for Spurs and both club & player want to part ways.

Adebayor is available for around £5 million since Tottenham are eagerly trying to get rid of him. Aston Villa are also in the hunt for a striker and are ready to fight for him. He was completely overshadowed by Harry Kane’s form last season and could not find his way into the playing XI.

Sampordia want to lure Mario Balotelli  from Liverpool if the Reds drop their £7.1 million asking price. Balotelli has faced the angry fans’ reaction and they want him to move on now.

The 24-year-old striker’s form has depleted drastically and he has seen himself drop out of favour from Rodgers’ playing XI.

The Sampdoria president said, “He costs €10m but, with a discount on that, we welcome him with open arms.”

Balotelli has only managed to net 4 goals in 28 matches in his Liverpool career as of yet.

Napoli are on their way to beat Fiorentina to the signing of Tottenham defender Vlad Chiriches.

Talks with the 25-year-old Romanian are expected to happen this week for a move from England to Italy. Spurs had managed to convince him to stay for the remaining season.

In two years at White Hart Lane, he made 27 appearances in the Premier League. Spurs would allow him to leave if a bid of £6-7 million is made for Chiriches.

Newcastle is ready to increase their bid for QPR’s star forward Charlie Austin if they get some assurance about his shoulder injury.

Newcastle is unwilling to meet QPR’s £15 million asking price for Austin, whose 18 goals could not save Rangers from relegation from the Premier League and will offer only about £13.25 million.

Betting on Austin was suspended by Sky Bet as the move to Newcastle edges closer.

Paris Saint-Germain president Naseer  Olivier Letang and Al Khelaifi both are in London to try and finalize deal with Liverpool for left-back Lucas Digne.

The young defener has admitted he wants to move, with the club also having agreed to let him go on mutual consent. Laurent Blanc, PSG’s manager, wanted him to stay but now it seems a loan deal with a signing clause after one year has been accepted by both the parties.

He  has eight caps for the French national side. The addition of Digne would help strengthen Liverpool’s back line for next season.

Tottenham Hotspur is set to lure players from Germany, according to British papers today. Spurs have sent their representatives to Germany for the transfer swoop.

The Bundesliga trio of Timo Werner, Sven Bender and Christoph Kramer are on their wish list.

Timo Werner, a 19-year-old striker currently playing for Stuttgart, can play at the wings or as a central striker, has blistering pace to outrun defenders and could cost around £8-10 million, whereas Sven Bender plays in defensive midfield and is undoubtedly  one of the most promising youngsters in his position, currently playing for Borussia Dortmund. 24-year-old Kramer is known for his international debut in the World Cup final where he suffered a serious head injury in a clash. He is also tipped as Schweinsteiger’s future replacement. The Bayer Leverkusen midfielder will cost them around £6-7 million.

Tottenham manager Pochettino has admitted he wants to add one more striker and midfielder before the new season gets going.

Manchester City is now looking to sell Edin Dzeko following Stevan Jovetic’s departure to Inter Milan. They are planning on replacing both strikers with star Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain. Manchester’s Blues placed the Argentinian forward on top of their transfer wish-list, but they’ll have to once again break the English transfer record in order to bring him to Etihad. Gunners gave up on the chase after Napoli demanded an extremely high transfer fee for the striker.

Higuain will cost around £60-65 million. The striker was prolific for Real Madrid and Napoli but his form has depleted in recent times. City is planning to take a risk and bring him to the Premier League.

Leicester City is now the third team in the race to sign out-of-favour Liverpool forward Rickie Lambert. The Liverpool squad has seven strikers at present and he clearly won’t be in Rodgers’ plans for next season.

Teams such as West Brom and Norwich are also chasing the 33-year-old striker’s signature. The Reds are looking to offload Lambert after a flop first season at Anfield. The former Southampton striker could feature in any of these three sides.  Liverpool will entertain only the highest bid for the forward.

Liverpool want £4.5-5 million for Lambert which is the same price at which the club bought him from Southampton last summer and the Englishman is expected to begin his talks with West Brom this week unless some audacious bid is made by the other clubs.

Aston Villa are ready to spend money they gained off the Benteke & Delph signings in France, as the current situation stands.

The Villans have almost completed a deal for FC Lorient striker Jordan Ayew. They’ve already bagged the signings of Idrissa Gueye and Jordan Amavi from Ligue 1 sides as well.

The next Frenchman on the radar is Paul Georges-Ntep. Incoming news from France has stated that Villa are all set to beat West Ham & Stoke to the signature of the 22-year-old winger. Aston have prepared a £10 million bid for the Rennes player and he would prove to be a key addition to the squad.
