The fight is one of the hottest tickets in the UK, with around 75,000 fans set to pack out the iconic venue in Cardiff. Most of those fans will be getting behind their British hero, Joshua, although Parker is also sure to have some support. Below is a guide to some of the popular betting markets, with some tips also thrown in. You can get a complete guide to the bout, with boxing expert betting tips for the Joshua v Parker fight from Free Bets.
Fight Winner:
Lots of big money punters will be placing their bets on Joshua in the hope of making a quick profit. He has odds ranging from about 1/8 (William Hill) to 1/25 (Betfair) currently. You can see the attraction, with the Brit winning every fight of his career by KO/TKO. Some punters will fancy Parker though, odds of 13/2 are tempting for a fighter who has yet to taste defeat.
Tip: Joshua to win, but there are ways to make a bigger profit in the fight.
Method of Victory:
There is a bit more value to be found in this betting market. Joshua is 1/4 to win by KO/TKO or disqualification. That would represent a 25% increase on your outlay. Not bad when considering his record. Parker is priced at 14/1 to win the fight within the 12 rounds, but he not done that since beating Alexander Dimitrenko in October 2016. Three fights have been decided by judges since that time. Parker is 33/1 to win by decision, with Joshua 9/2 to do so for the very first time in his career.
Tip: Joshua to win by KO/TKO. However, you can see the value in backing Parker at those big odds to win by decision.
Round Betting:
You will get odds ranging from around 8/1 – 22/1 for Joshua to win in a specific round of the fight. The mean average of his fights (of 12 rounds) points to a win in the 4 or 5 round, which is priced at 8/1. However, some would point to his two most high-profile fights – Wladimir Klitschko and Carlos Takam – ending in the 11 and 10 respectively. You can find odds of 4/1 (Ladbrokes) for Joshua to win in rounds 9 through 12 inclusive. Parker can be found at a range of 100/1 – 175/1 to win in any specific round by Betfair. That’s pretty huge value, especially given that surprises are always possible in heavyweight division.

Another interesting one is the 10/1 offered by Paddy Power for both fighters to be knocked down during the match.
