Sony promised to revolutionize the gaming experience with their latest new-gen console, PS5. The hype around the console has been quite huge, and frankly, we do not think the hype has died out yet. Sony delivered as they promised. Its powerful hardware makes the latest addition to the PlayStation family impart an enhanced gaming experience. In addition to this, the regular release of updates curbs any issues that the users complain of.
In the previous update, Sony fixed a major issue. The update resolved an issue where data transfers and downloads would get canceled when players tried to download content while a data transfer from a PS4 is in progress.
Earlier today, Sony released a software update for PS5. This current software provides some necessary system improvements and includes performance updates as usual. However, this update has brought one other major change that has been bothering players for a while now.

The latest software update for PS5 fixes a backward compatibility issue
PlayStation 5 users had been facing a particular issue that the current update has fixed. At times, when a player would try to install the PS5 version of a PS4 game, the console would install the PS4 version. This unexpected installation was, of course, something that bothered users for quite some time.

However, users can now relax. This current software update will ensure that the console does not unexpectedly install the PlayStation 4 version of a title. Instead, it will install the new-gen version of the title instead.
With all these improvements, you must hurry and grab this latest console if you haven’t already. According to reports, both the digital as well as the standard edition seem to be in stock, unlike the massive fiasco around the consoles last year.
