Minecraft Dungeons is a dungeon crawler spinoff developed by Mojang Studios and Double Eleven. Recently, a new update that will be bringing cloud-saving features was announced via Twitter. The update, expected to arrive on May 5, will finally allow players to continue their saved progress on various supported platforms.

Since its initial release in 2020, the game has received regular updates and downloadable content. Therefore, it is no surprise that Mojang has listened to its fans and added this highly coveted feature. Currently, the game is available on PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. Using the new cloud save features, users can back up their data on Mojang and Microsoft’s servers.

Another great advantage of this new feature is that players can log in from any device and resume from where they last left off rather than having to start a new save.

Players have a plethora of new content to enjoy on Minecraft Dungeons. Recent downloadable content packs added to the game include Jungle Awakens, Creeping Winer, Howling Perks, and of late the Flames of the Nether. This latest DLC will allow players to “Journey to the heart of the Nether in six new missions that will let you explore familiar biomes in an all-new way.”

Those who purchase the pack will also be able to mine new artifacts, weapons, and gear.

Similar to previous expansions, Flames of the Nether comes in two parts, a paid, premium DLC that adds a new realm to Minecraft Dungeons’ map and a free companion update that will add content available to all players.
