Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War received a humongous launch week patch update recently. This fixed a lot of bugs and issues that were hindering the gameplay, stabilizing the game in the process. Now, there is yet another small patch update which fixes the spawn logic and other issues in the game.

Treyarch made the announcement on Twitter, revealing the tweaks made to the spawn logic in Multiplayer. Additionally, there are also some tweaks made to the Zombies mode.

MULTIPLAYER

Spawns

Adjusted Hardpoint spawn logic to reduce average travel time to active Hardpoints.

Adjusted enemy weighting for spawns in Crossroads Strike and Armada Strike.

Fireteam: Dirty Bomb

Addressed a UI error that could sometimes occur when loading into a match of Fireteam: Dirty Bomb on Ruka.

Perks

Addressed an issue that would prevent Flak Jacket from properly protecting the player from explosive damage in Hardcore modes.

ZOMBIES

Field Upgrades

Addressed an issue where the player could earn Field Upgrade charge while their Ring of Fire was currently activated.

Enemies

Addressed an issue that sometimes caused zombies to use their ranged attack unexpectedly.

Addressed a rare issue that could rarely cause the Megaton to be permanently invincible after splitting.

Stability

Added various stability fixes.

In addition to this, Nuketown ?84 also releases today. The classic CoD map returns with a Black Ops Cold War Twist and brings back the original high-octane gameplay to the title. Additionally, the map also has an interesting Easter egg.

The Black Ops Cold War Zombies mode is also full of Easter eggs. A giant monster and a rock song are a part of these, which make it even more fun. The developers have indeed gone all out with the new Zombies mode and will also add more content to it soon.

Treyarch is paying close attention to player complaints and queries. The studio is quite proactive in addressing and solving these issues and that spells good news for the game moving forward. This will definitely help them improve the game?s overall experience and also keep it bug-free.
