The Lakers will host the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday at Crypto.com Arena. Both teams will enter the contest to solidify their position in the not-so-far-away postseason of 2024. While the Kings are barely hanging onto the seventh spot in the West, LAL is on the ninth spot and just needs one victory to enter the top eight. However, after a ravishing victory against the Oklahoma City Thunder, it seems that LeBron James might miss the Lakers’ encounter against Sacramento.
LBJ, who recently became the first player in NBA history to reach 40,000 points, is listed as questionable for the Sacramento Kings match. According to the Lakers Injury Report. LeBron James is currently fighting an injured ankle. The report dabbles Lakers fans with disappointment as every remaining game is highly important for their team.
Adding to the fans’ woes further, Anthony Davis has been added to the Injury Report of the LA Lakers as well. AD is facing a problem in the Achilles region. Fortunately, however, unlike LeBron James, Davis’ status is probable instead of questionable for the next match. But, unless a complete guarantee isn’t in place, fans will still have their hearts working overtime.

What will the Los Angeles Lakers lineup look like with LeBron James?
The Los Angeles Lakers have quite limited options when it comes to sending a team on the court right now. The team is already burdened with the deficit of Gabe Vincent, Jarred Vanderbilt, Christian Wood, and Colin Castleton. But, if LBJ and AD step on the court, the starting five of the Lakers will feature LeBron James, Anthony Davis, D’Angelo Russel, Rui Hachimura, and Austin Reaves. Moreover, if James stays out, head coach Darvin Ham would likely replace him with Taurean Prince.

For the Sacramento Kings, however, the options are quite broad. Only Sasha Vezenkov from the team is out due to an injury and the others are available. Thus, Sacramento will play its regulars against LAL which will include, De’Aaron Fox, Keegan Murray, Harrison Barnes, Kevin Huerter, and Domantas Sabonis. Thus, the involvement of LeBron James is even more important in such a situation.
