Kyle Busch winless—Is it just a rough patch, or are his glory days behind him?

Kyle Busch’s 2024 NASCAR season has been nothing short of a rollercoaster—and not the fun kind. After years of being a dominant force on the track, this season has tested Rowdy like no other. For the first time in his storied career, he went winless in the Cup Series, a shocking stat for someone with over 60 career victories. To make matters worse, Busch failed to qualify for the playoffs—a bitter pill to swallow for fans who hadn’t seen him miss out since 2012.

His numbers this season? Just six top-10 finishes in 22 races, coupled with mechanical failures and inconsistent performances, making this his most challenging year since 2005. Even a standout moment like his Truck Series win at Atlanta Motor Speedway or his strong showing at the Daytona 500 wasn’t enough to overshadow the struggles. But he never fails to stay in high spirits despite a tough season.

Kyle Busch has never been one to shy away from a laugh, even if it was after he had one of the toughest seasons of his career. Over the weekend, he hopped into a midget car for the very first time, a milestone for the NASCAR superstar who’s usually seen in much roomier machines. But let’s just say his exit from the tiny car didn’t go quite as smoothly as planned.

In a reel posted to his Instagram account @rowdybusch, Kyle shared the amusing struggle of squeezing out of the snug cockpit. “First time in the Midget, and my fat butt almost didn’t make it out 🤣🤣,” he wrote, setting the tone for what fans quickly dubbed one of his most relatable moments. The video shows Kyle Busch trying to maneuver his way out of the car, all while laughing at his predicament—a true Rowdy moment, full of humor and charm.

My a— is stuck in there,” said Busch while using all his might in an attempt to get out of the car. Then Busch got advice from someone behind the camera to ‘twist out’ of the vehicle. Since Busch’s own brute efforts were of no use, he took the advice and managed to wriggle his way out with a huge grin on his face. “I got a cramp,” said the 39-year-old, after managing to stand upright out of his seat, sending everyone in the room into laughter.

To add to the fun, he later reposted the reel to his Instagram Story with the cheeky follow-up: “I think it’s time to go on one of @samanthabusch’s diets.” The candid post quickly became a hit on social media, with fans on both @rowdybusch and @floracing loving Kyle’s ability to poke fun at himself. The original audio—his infectious laughter—only made it better.

Samantha Busch recently opened up about a deeply personal struggle with alopecia. It started in 2022 when chunks of hair started to fall out and Busch was diagnosed with Alopecia areata. This is an autoimmune disease that causes hair loss. It can also cause permanent hair loss among adults. Busch underwent many treatments and therapy sessions, including red-light therapy and never lost hope during it all. Eventually, the shedding stopped, and Busch decided to share her journey with all of her fans. Known for her candor about life’s challenges, including her journey with IVF, Samantha once again showcased her resilience by sharing an intimate moment from her battle with alopecia online.

Taking to Instagram Stories, Samantha posted a picture from a year ago, revealing the visible patches of hair loss she endured. Her caption read: “I can’t believe this was one year ago today. I was so embarrassed and upset.” Her vulnerability didn’t stop there. Samantha extended a heartfelt message of solidarity to others navigating the same struggles: “Thinking of all of you today facing similar situations. I know it’s not easy to stay positive when the hair won’t stop falling out. I pray you find your answer to solve it too.”

For the Busch family, resilience seems to be a shared trait. While Kyle Busch faced his own challenges on the track in 2024, Samantha was fighting her battle off it. Together, they’ve always been open about their highs and lows, inspiring fans with their honesty and determination.
