The packaging is definitely in line with the PS5’s colors, which are white, black, and a hint of the PlayStation blue. The box also contains information about the console’s graphics capabilities on the front where it says 8K, 120 FPS, and HDR. This will all be dependent on what screen you use for gaming and the specific game you’re running. Additionally, the 8K resolution indicates that the PS5 is compatible with 8K TVs. This doesn’t mean that it’ll run games at 8K resolution.
The back of the box contains information about the console’s SSD and its next-gen gaming experience.

A closer look at the PlayStation 5 accessories
Inside the box, there is a smaller cardboard box for accessories and the PS5 console itself. MKBHD got the Disc+Digital version of the PS5, which is costlier than the digital-only version. The smaller box contains a power cable, a DualSense controller, an HDMI cable, the necessary paperwork, and the PS5 stand. This stand is what will allow users to place the console sideways as seen in the PS5 teardown video.
Marques also noted that the console is indeed gigantic compared to its rivals and predecessors. Additionally, the inner side of the side plates has a texture of miniatures ‘X’ and ‘Os’. This is some great attention to detail, which is quite noteworthy.

Moving forward, he goes on to compare the PS5 to the PS4 Pro, Xbox Series X, and Series S. Obviously the PS5 is massive compared to all of them which prompts Marques to say, “(It) Kinda looks like a fancy building.”

Next, the video gives a closer look at the DualSense controller. Like the side panels, the controller also has the same design embossed on it. Additionally, the lighting system and the charging have been changed drastically from the DualShock 4 controller. The charging dock for the DualSense controllers also looks like a miniature PS5 itself.
This video just gives a glimpse of the contents of the retail box and accessories of the PS5. There will be more details regarding the console, closer to the release date.
