Ever since Kimi Raikkonen joined Instagram, he has practically taken social media by storm. Apparently, the Finn is also fascinated by the social media app’s features and had a fun time exploring it. Recently, a new filter was added to the Instagram stories feature.
Apparently, the filter showed the person, which Formula One driver from the 2020 line-up they are. Of course, it gave the drivers an excuse to play around with the filter and just have some fun. When Kimi Raikkonen used the app filter, he got Charles Leclerc as his driver.

Later on, Daniel Ricciardo and Esteban Ocon joined in on the fun. Incidentally, Ricciardo ended up getting Ocon’s name, to the latter’s delight. Sadly, Ocon did not check out whether he got himself, Ricciardo’s name or another driver. However Antonio Giovinazzi also seemed quite captivated, and was busy posting stories of fans who managed to get his name.
One thing is for sure, the Formula One drivers of today’s day and age, have really moved along with the times. Dare we say it, they may also be enjoying this era of social media. Kimi Raikkonen himself seems to be enjoying Instagram a lot and often posts a number of stories.

It is no secret that the 2007 world champion is close to hanging up his boots. One could even interpret his social media stories of him spending time with his family as a surefire sign. The Finnish driver is 40-years old and arguably well past his prime. It gives many a reason to believe that 2020 could be his final year in Formula One.
Honestly speaking, his absence will be a huge loss, as he is one of the most popular F1 drivers. Even when he is not celebrated for his driving, many love him for his humour and his dry wit.
