Ever since Animal Crossing: New Horizons dropped for the Nintendo Switch last year, many characters have landed on player Islands. While many of them made their first appearance in the older titles of the series, the latest game also has some new ones as well. Fans have their share of favorite characters in the game, such as Tom Nook, Stitches, Marshal, and many more.

However, when it comes to popularity, very few characters rival the fame of K. K. Slider. The musically gifted dog has played some amazing tunes with his guitar for his many fans during his concerts. However, it seems like music isn’t his only career option, as he’s building up some knockout power for anyone who wants to catch some hands.

K.K. Slider from Animal Crossing: New Horizons has been hitting the gym

A recent Reddit post on r/AnimalCrossing showed the rather musically talented dog trying out a hand in boxing. In the post, players can see Slider try some of his famous hook and jab steps on a speed bag, taking everyone by surprise. No one knows why he’s trying out some moves, but it seems like Slider has taken a rather serious stand on personal health.

Many Animal Crossing fans commented on the post to talk about his amazing boxing form. One fan even dubbed him Killer Knuckles Slider because of his deadly punches. Other new names for the dog include Knockout Kombo Slider, Knockout King Slider and many more. But what could possibly be the reason for Slider to try out a hand at boxing?

Is K.K. Slider vying for a spot on the next Super Smash Bros. Roster?

October saw the release of the character for the popular Nintendo Switch title Super Smash Bros. Ultimate in Sora. Series creator Masahiro Sakurai announced that the Kingdom Hearts character will be the last memeber to join the game’s massive roster. This means that another Smash title has gone by without a single Animal Crossing character in it. However, after watching this clip, fans might want to select K.K. Slider as the game’s representative if Sakurai ever makes another title for the iconic Nintendo franchise.

In the end, it seems like villagers might not want to anger dear Slider by saying something bad. Because, if they do, then they might have to deal with some fists of fury.
