After a brilliant performance at UFC 246, and the rumors surrounding a potential rematch if Khabib can go past Tony Ferguson, Khabib’s camp has answered the MMA fans.

How can we see a Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Conor McGregor rematch?

Khabib’s father and trainer, Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov revealed camp’s conditions for a title fight against the current lightweight champion. In a recent interaction with Russian outlet RIA Novosti per RT Today, Khabib’s father shared his thought on a rematch with Conor McGregor.

“The day after the fight against Ferguson, give us that amount and then why not get revenge? I don’t know, maybe Dana White wants to arrange it (for that amount), he needs that fight.”

According to Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, the condition for a Conor McGregor rematch is pretty clear. A big payday for a fighting spectacle that the world will witness when two of the greatest lightweights go face to face inside the octagon one more time.

However, Nurmagomedov’s first challenge will be to get past Tony Ferguson at UFC 249. The fight between both fighters has been canceled multiple times in the past. In his last lightweight title defense, Khabib Nurmagomedov was paid $6 million as his fight purse. However, how much Khabib made from his fight against Dustin Poirier at UFC 242, including PPV sales and other endorsements, is still unofficial. Recently, McGregor mentioned that he would make close to $80 million from his fight against Donald Cerrone at recently concluded UFC 246.

McGregor has touched the $100 million mark before. Only time will tell if the negotiations for a Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor rematch will ever fall in place. However, a $100 million payday for both the fighters, doesn’t look impossible considering the position of both the fighters.
