Haas F1 driver Kevin Magnussen often has a bit of a history with Renault driver Nico Hulkenberg. Things came to a head when Hulkenberg accused Magnussen of unsportsman-like conduct, but the Dane’s response was, “Suck my b***s, honey”. Ironically, the two driver could be on the verge of becoming Formula 1 teammates at Haas.
Oddly enough, Kevin Magnussen is still questioned about the altercation to this day. Frankly, the Haas F1 driver is fed to the teeth with it and would love for it to stop.

“The whole episode and the fact that I’m still asked about it today shows what’s going wrong in this media world,” an annoyed Magnussen told Auto Motor und Sport. “Of course, I understand that people click on stories like that, but if the cameras had never seen it, then Nico and I wouldn’t even think about it today.”

However, it is worth noting that the story still remains relevant today owing to the possibility of pairing the two together in 2020. Rumour has it that Nico Hulkenberg could replace Romain Grosjean at Haas, and his vacated works Renault seat could go to Mercedes reserve driver Esteban Ocon. However, all that is merely speculation, and official word from the teams would remedy that and clear up everything.

“My final word is simply that my respect for Nico is great, and I have nothing against him personally,” Magnussen said. “I don’t know him as a person, but I haven’t heard anyone speak badly about him. That’s it.”
“I would not say that we have a relationship. We are opponents on the track,” he concluded. “We are not friends. Of course, I have great respect for his driving skills. He is a very talented, complete driver. I really have nothing against him.”
